The Parthenon and Centennial Park Conservancy are proud to present Tennessee Triennial from January 27 through May 7. Painter Lakesha Moore, sculptor Desmond Lewis, and photographer Houston Cofield created artwork aligning with the theme of Re-Pair.

Red Arrow – Show Up! celebrates the eighth anniversary of East Nashville’s Red Arrow Gallery. Red Arrow founder Katie Shaw describes this exhibition as “a curated selection of contemporary paintings, photography, and sculpture created by artists who are living and working now.”

Kindred Links by Omari Booker and Henry L. Jones
The Parthenon and Centennial Park Conservancy are proud to present Kindred Links by Omari Booker and Henry L. Jones in the East Gallery of the Parthenon from Friday, October 29 through Sunday, February 13, 2022.
Booker and Jones, two of Tennessee’s premier African American artists, created over two dozen artworks included in this new exhibition of paintings, video, and found objects. These pieces form a physical and spiritual survey of community and the impact of gentrification upon the heritage of North Nashville’s historically Black neighborhoods.
Lynn Goldsmith: The Looking Glass
The Parthenon, in partnership with Centennial Park Conservancy, will present Lynn Goldsmith: The Looking Glass, a groundbreaking photography exhibit in which photographer Lynn Goldsmith highlights the psychological relationship between what we see and what we imagine through a series of self-portraits. The exhibit will be on view in the Parthenon’s East Gallery from Thursday, June 24 through Wednesday, October 13.
Meyer Wolfe: The Star of All Things
The Parthenon, in partnership with the Centennial Park Conservancy, will present Meyer Wolfe: The Star of All Things. The exhibit, which will be on view in the Parthenon’s East Gallery from Friday, February 5 through Sunday, June 6, presents images, artwork, and ephemera from Meyer Wolfe, an eclectic and prodigious artist best known for his portraits of Nashville’s Black community.
Century III: Forty Year Retrospective 1980 -2020
Located in the Parthenon’s East Gallery, Century III: Forty Year Retrospective 1980 -2020 will revisit a body of work acquired by the Parthenon in 1980 in celebration of the city's bicentennial. This exhibit is now showing through January 24.
Music in the Park: Songs and Stories from Centennial Park 1896 – 2020
As both subject and setting for many styles of music, Centennial Park has a historic association with song. This celebratory exhibit will run from May 29 through September 20 and present stories of the music, musicians, and audiences in the park from the 1897 Tennessee Centennial Exposition through Musicians Corner.
