SLOW ART DAY AT THE PARTHENON
Enjoy Slow Art Day with programming that will highlight the unique art collection of the Parthenon!
From our Cowan Collection of 18th-20th century paintings to contemporary pieces in The Muses to architectural details, museum experts will share the wonderful works of art on display in the museum.
Plus, we will be offering special Slow Art Day Art Talks with the Parthenon’s Director of Education and Curator, where they will help you look slowly, explore a painting, and facilitate discussion about works of art in our permanent collection of art and current exhibitions.
Slow Art Day programming is open to visitors of all ages and will be celebrated with a variety of activities including:
10 AM Architecture Tour - meet in the Entrance Lobby
10 - 10:45 AM Investigation Station: The Muses - in the East Gallery
