Free admission for Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) students, staff, and faculty— and their entire families!

Simply inform museum staff you are a MNPS family for free admission.

Event Highlights:

4:45 PM- Bilingual Story Time with Nashville Public Library

5:30 PM- Star Talk with Astronomer, Erika Grundstrom

6:00 PM- Museum Tour with an Archaeologist

It’s time for a family field trip to the Parthenon! All MNPS families are invited to come see our newest exhibitions:  

The Role of a Replica, open through 2025

&

David Gootnick: Contemporary Kumiko, open through December 1

DURING STEAM NIGHT YOU CAN:

  • Join a Spanish/ English Story Time from Nashville Public Library at 4:45 PM.

  • Meet Vanderbilt Astronomer, Erika Grundstrom, and listen to a Star Talk at 5:30 PM that talks about myths and the constallations.

  • Join a 6 PM STEAM Night Museum Tour with an archaeologist.

  • Explore Nashville history and American art exhibitions on Level 1:

    • Centennial Exposition Gallery

    • Cowan Gallery featuring American art

    • East Gallery special exhibit David Gootnick: Contemporary Kumiko, open through December 1

    • West Gallery special exhibit The Role of a Replica featuring the city’s replica collection

  • Explore Greek history and art exhibitions on Level 2:

    • Naos featuring the colossal statue of Athena

    • Treasury with Parthenon Marbles casts, Ionic columns, and pediment maquettes

  • Learn from museum experts about STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) connections at the Parthenon.

  • Build an architectural masterpiece or solve a mythology map puzzle in the Treasury on Level 2.

  • Take a break at the Research Station in the Treasury on Level 2.

  • Enjoy Centennial Park and listen to a free Exterior Architecture Audio Tour in English, Spanish, or Arabic.
